3 Sets of Interactive Sculpture

Inspired by Katsuhiro Otomo’s vision of a dystopian future in Akira (1991), this project explores the balance between fear and hope in a post-apocalyptic dystopia. How could we process communal fear and maintain motivation to survive while avoiding creating unreasonable high hopes? How could accepting the loss of autonomy and surrendering to uncertainties relieve our fear?
